VR CONTEST
Journey through European linguistic diversity
In Europe, 40 to 50 million people speak one of its 60 regional languages.
We are looking for students in the age range of 12-18 to help others discover the linguistic diversity of Europe through creating a story that will be shown through a virtual reality headset. We would like these students to create a script that features three of the languages represented in NPLD interacting with each other that shows the origins, music, literature and artistic production, sounds, the values these languages hold for the identity of their speakers. The winner of this competition will then have the script animated into virtual reality and then shown through a headset.
You can choose from the following languages: Catalan, Basque, Galician, Corsican, Breton, Occitan, Ladin, Friulian, Mochèno, Cimbri, Sardinian, Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, Frisian, Sorbian, Hungarian (in Romania), Swedish (in Finland), Nynorsk, Finnish (in Sweden), Irish, and Macedonian.
