NPLD Networking Breakfast 2025 on the occasion of the European Day of Languages
The NPLD will host its Networking Breakfast to mark the European Day of Languages on Thursday 25 September 2025, 09:30–11:00, at the Delegation of the Basque Country to the EU (Rue des Deux Églises 27, 1000 Brussels), at the invitation of NPLD Chair Anna Jungner-Nordgren and Aitor Aldasoro Iturbe, Deputy Minister for Language Policy of the Basque Government.
At this year’s breakfast, Éamon Ó Cuív—former Irish Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, who oversaw Ireland’s efforts to secure EU working-language status for Irish—will give a short address on the challenges and opportunities facing Europe’s languages on the road to EU official status. The event is aimed at NPLD government members, Members of the European Parliament, representatives of the European Commission and the Council of Europe, and officials from states where our languages are spoken, and will offer an excellent networking opportunity.
Capacity is limited; please RSVP by 22 September 2025 to vicent.fenollar@npld.eu
