Digitisation of cultural heritage of minority communities for equity and renewed engagement (DIGICHer) is a European-funded project. It seeks to provide new understandings of the key legal and policy, socio-economic and technological factors that drive the digitisation of minorities’ cultural heritage to develop a new and scalable framework, designed via user-centric networks to promote equitable, diverse and inclusive practices.

The project started in April 2024 and has a duration of 36 months. The members of DIGICHer consortium are the Vilniaus Gedimino Technikos Universitetas, Stichting Europeana, Friedrich-Schiller Universität, Lapin Yliopisto, Istituto Italiano di Studi Germanici, Finnarchiv Kansallisarkisto, Istituto Culturale Ladino, Viesoji Istaiga Lietuvos Inovaciju, and the NPLD and Time Machine Organisation (TMO) as associate partners.

As part of this research, the DIGICHer team have created a survey that looks to understand the technology acceptance of end-users of cultural heritage. For this part of the project, having a wide range of opinions would be very beneficial for the progression of this project.

If you have the time, it would be greatly appreciated for you to complete the survey or to pass it on to those you think could be interested in participating and help support the important work the DIGICHer team are doing in safeguarding the cultural heritage of minority groups.
