ORGANISATION

The Norwegian Museum of Written Culture consists of the Aasen Language Museum, the Hauge Poetry Museum and the Vinje Museum, each with associated festivals. The museums are in parts of southern Norway where Nynorsk is strongest, but the organization arranges exhibitions, tours and events across Norway and abroad. It is also a founding member and leading partner of the International Network of Language Museums, with a long tradition of international cooperation. Key authors represented include Ivar Aasen, Olav H. Hauge, Aasmund Olavsson Vinje, Aslaug Vaa, Haldis Moren Vesaas and Tarjei Vesaas.
