ORGANISATION
Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol | Welsh National College
The Coleg’s main aim is to increase, develop and broaden the range of Welsh medium study opportunities at universities in Wales. In addition to funding high quality modules and resources for the Welsh medium sector, the Coleg funds lectureships, strategic projects and undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships. The Coleg places the Welsh language, Welsh culture and scholarship in Welsh at the heart of its operations while planning, developing and implementing sustainable academic provision for the future.
The Coleg’s Academic Plan is based on four key themes, namely innovative learning of the highest quality, sustainability, employability and society, and partnership with students. The academic plan forms the basis for all academic work undertaken by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol in partnership with the higher education sector in Wales.
